Gone Girl

I saw Gone Girl last night. A lot of critics have been raving about how great Ben Affleck was in this film, and I will admit he was great, but the actor who stole the show for me was Rosamund Pike, the actress who plays his wife. Her performance was one of the best I've seen all year. The casting overall was unique & surprisingly impressive. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat. I would definitely recommend this movie.

Hercules

I saw Hercules yesterday. If you can overlook The Rocks horrible wig and are looking for some mindless fun, mixed with action, this movie is for you. I enjoyed this one; a good end to the weekend.

22 Jump Street

I was finally able to see 22 Jump Street this weekend. Its tough to follow up a good original but I thought they did a pretty good job. There were definitely some awkward parts that could have been taken out & some joke themes that were used a bit too much but overall I thought it was a pretty good sequel. One thing that did surprise me was that even after being out for 2 weeks, the theater was packed. I would recommend seeing this one; just be prepared for a potentially crowded showing.

Think Like A Man Too

I saw Think Like A Man Too yesterday. It was funny but not as funny as the first one. A lot of the best parts were in the previews. I'm glad I saw this one during a matinee. I'd say do the same or wait for it to come on video.
