Wolfs

Wolfs is an action-comedy starring Brad Pitt and George Clooney as two rival fixers forced to team up over one explosive night to cover up a prominent New York official's misstep.

Six minutes into the film, the dialogue lands as terrible, though it thankfully improved as the story progresses. Unfortunately, the trailers give a lot of the plot away, leading to some highly predictable moments. The soundtrack remains mostly unremarkable, though the inclusion of Sade’s "Smooth Operator" was a great touch.

The story itself keeps you interested, and the chemistry between Clooney and Pitt is as sharp as ever. They shared a lot of great unspoken dialogue that reflected their shared understanding of their work. Underneath the action, the film explored themes around trust and learning from one another as these two characters are forced to set aside their egos.

Ultimately, it served as an entertaining ride, but it lacks the depth or originality to be something I would watch again.
